The One Heart Bowl™ is a football game between Grapevine Faith Christian School and Gainesville State School, a maximum-security facility of the Texas Youth Commission.
Coach Kris Hogan committed to this game in 2008, teaching his players about the consequences of bad decisions, while showing the players at Gainesville State that they were “just as valuable as anyone else on the planet.” Faith students, families and faculty attended the football game, cheering for the Gainesville Tornadoes.
Because the 2008 game made such a positive impact on all involved, it is now held annually. One Heart Bowl™ is an opportunity for Faith fans to show God’s love to the Gainesville State players, encouraging them to do their best not only on the football field, but also in life.
