Ashton Dunnington and Davy Nanson both earned nominations for the Dallas Morning News Sports Player of the Week honors. Ashton and Davy both set career highs for rushing w/ 149 and 179 yards respectively. Good job guys!
Brance Kahle signed with Murray State College (Tshminga, OK) to continue playing baseball while Brett Perkins is going to Bacone College (OK) to continue playing. Four Lions have now signed to play college ball and congrats to them!
Jared Pruett took part in the Texas Private School Coaches Association sponsored All Star game featuring some of the best private school players in the state. Jared and the North squad defeated the South All Stars, 12-1, capping a great high school career at Faith.
Jared Pruett and Brance Kahle were unanimous TAPPS 1-4A All District Selections and Justin Davis earned 2nd Team All District. Honorable Mentions were Pierson Sizelove, Zach Garcia and Garrett Lakey.
Jared and Brance were named to the TAPPS 4A All Star Teams. Jared was named to the 1st team and Brance earned Honorable Mention.

Jared Pruett and Justin Davis signed letters of intent to continue their baseball careers in college. Jared was offered a scholarship to Three Rivers College in Missouri and Justin signed his LOI to play at Pepperdine University.

Emory Cason set two new state records at the TAPPS 4A Track meet and broke four school records, one previously held by her. Emory is playing soccer in college on scholarship. Congratulations to Emory!

At Oregon State, Peter Ashton will be starting on special teams and backup safety. Head Coach Mike Riley had originally thought he would redshirt Peter, but Peter has proven himself to be a valuable commodity on special teams and backup safety.
